The Bible encourages us to trust the Lord with all our heart and to not lean unto our own understanding.  It teaches us to acknowledge God in all our ways (Proverbs 3:3-5).  One of the ways that we can trust God and acknowledge Him is in the act of tithing and giving offerings.  The word "tithe" means tenth or 10%.  Tithing is the first 10% of your income and an offering is anything you give beyond the 10%.  Giving to God teaches us to trust Him in our finances but beyond that, giving to God allows His church to see the world changed for His cause and His glory.  The gospel is preached, lives are changed, missionaries are able to fulfill their God-given mission, people are fed, bodies are healed and the kingdom of God is built!  Thank you for your faithful support of God's ministries!
